Policy Analyst
David moved to New Mexico in 2005 and has lived there since. Born in Michigan to Soviet immigrant parents and diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, he brings a unique perspective to health and education policy. David earned a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from the University of New Mexico in 2023, with a focus on how historical events and republican institutions shape modern policy and law. His experience includes volunteering for State Senator Jay Block’s campaign and interning with the NM Public Interest Research Group. In his free time, David enjoys reading, running, practicing Taekwondo and Jiu-Jitsu (holding a 1st Dan Black Belt), and playing the miniature wargame Warhammer 40,000.
