• RGF’s Paul Gessing provided testimony on Right to Work legislation introduced by Rep. Townsend of Artesia in the Legislature on Saturday. The bill was killed on a party-line vote.
• Paul and Mike discuss some of the silliest bills of the 2017 session, the potential for NM to fall into a “death spiral,” doubts about the merits of an ethics commission which is being discussed in Santa Fe, the size and scope of New Mexico’s dependency on Washington, and legislation that would ensure no presidential candidate ever darkens New Mexico’s doorstep again.
• Finally, a joint resolution moving through the Legislature would pull New Mexico out of efforts to amend the US Constitution to include a balanced budget amendment.
