For the first time in a long time a New Mexico City is NOT trailing the region in job creation. Albuquerque met the average while Santa Fe and Las Cruces continued to lag. Farmington remains deeply challenged.
After many months the Carlsbad Caverns elevator system is heading to a resolution. Gessing visited the Caverns recently and also found out that the NPS has signed a $4 million contract to repair the elevators.
Lastly, Eddy County voters will be able to vote on a referendum to stop gross receipts taxes from going up in late September.
