116 NM’s lack of Public Companies, State Spending Data and Education News
RGF researchers took a look at data from Invest Snips and found that New Mexico has fewer publicly-traded companies than any other state on a per-capita basis. Paul and Wally discuss.
Data from US Government Spending shows NM state and local government spends much more than other states.
Several education related stories include Karen Trujillo out and Kara Bobroff in as (interim) Education Secretary. Also, the latest test results are out having been released late on Friday afternoon. The results are not great.
Also, NM’s most experienced substitute teachers are going to be limited because of pension issues.
